On Thursday 7th of May Dominio de la Vega appeared in the article in the Mexican financial newspaper.

Deby Beard, one of the most representative lovers of the world of wine culture in the country wrote an article about Valencia and its wines. In it was a paragraph dedicated to the winery from Requena, its wines and cavas.

New products, a white wine and a "vi de gel"

On Monday the 11th of May the winery celebrated the exclusive presentation of "d dulce" and "sauvignon blanc", New products in the Dominio de la Vega range. The ceremony was held in the "Casa del Conde" headquarters of the winery in San Antonio, Requena, Valencia.

Those present at the event, friends of Dominio de la Vega, were immersed in a mystical atmosphere where surrounded by alchemy instruments, the idea was they sought the way to happiness. Sensations, lights, sound and vintage periods filled the winery with a magical ambience.

"Sauvignon blanc" is a barrelled white wine with a great complexity of aromas, it has intense colour and it is elegant and clean. "D dulce" is a wine from iced fruit, intense with a pale yelow colour and greenish shades.

Golf tournament held from the 8th -10th of May

The European Senior Tour, the most prestigious senior golf tournament in Europa, took place in Majorca on the 8,9 and 10 of may. This competition assembled some of the best golfers over the age of 50 among which Sam Torrence and Mark James stood out.

In this tournament setting, Dominio de la Vega was the official supplier of the European tournament. Those attending were able to taste the Cava Brut Special Reserve from the valencian winery. By the same token the winners celebrated their triumph with a bottle of magnum from Dominio de la Vega.

Took place in Tallinn on February 18th

Last February 18th the Spanish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce organized a wine tasting with Dominio de la Vega products. The aim was to introduce its wines and cavas to Estonians entrepreneurs.

The Export Manager, Rosa M. Cañada, was responsible for introducing the variety of products from the valencian winery. About 14 wines were tasted such as red wines Dominio de la Vega and Pinot Noir, Arte Mayor and Brut Nature Reserva cavas.

The magazine Tasted, a prestigious international publication in the world of the wine, published in it´s last edition an in depth article about Dominio de la Vega.

The writer and collaborator of the magazine David Orange enjoyed a day in the winery, where he had the opportunity to visit la Casa del Conde, getting to know the vineyards and native varieties and tasting a wide selection of wines.

In the notes about tasting that he adds to his article, stands out the surprise produced in combination of dryness and strawberry notes in the cava Pinot Noir. In Orange´s words, the cava brut nature Reserva "is really well made and has all the characteristics of an excellent cava". As far as other wines are concerned, he had the opportunity to taste the Arte Mayor III; David Orange defines the impact of this wine as a "monster" and compares it with the big wines of California.
